PureBS Summary: If you don’t know what to say, talk about the chase the Ace controversy!
Families all have a different dynamic, this family despite a 1.2 million dollar win is heading into a rough patch! Check this out, 3 minutes of your life and you have a great story to share at the water cooler!!
Here’s what happened:
Barb Reddick (57 years old) in Nova Scotia wanted some lottery tickets. She asked her nephew Tyrone (19 years of age) to buy $100 dollars worth of tickets which she paid for. She also asked him to put his name on the tickets for good luck. Well good luck she had and she won over 1.2 million dollars! Now she wants it all. He received his check at the same time she did for half of the winnings but she believes she should get all the money. She has said she will take him to court as it should be all her money.
Pick a side!
- He picked up the tickets and both names were on them. It’s really quite simple, they split the prize. Also he could really use the money to get his life started and the pressure that has been reduced is huge. Not to mention look how happy they both look in the picture!
- Brutal, what kind of family member is this? Tyrone should know better and give all the money to his aunt who has always treated him well. Kids these days have no appreciation of how hard she has worked! That’s PureBS!!
I’ve got you started here:
- What would you do if you were Tyrone, would you give her the money?
