PureBS Summary:  If you don’t know what to say, talk about the small town on the map for a big sandwich!

Every town is known for something.  Every small town has searched for a way put themselves on the “map”. Shediac New Brunswick has done just that.  They built a 68 metre long lobster roll for the annual festival breaking the old record of 61 metres held by PEI a nearby neighbour. It took 12.5 hours and 40 volunteers to assemble this epic sandwich of the delicious crustacean. It was later consumed within an hour by ticket holders once it was cut into 450 pieces.

Pick a side!

  • Amazing use of a resource.  This town is very crafty and building a rivalry what good fun! One of my favourite foods is sandwiches, just reading this my mouth got juicy with excitement!

  • What a waste of those little lobster lives.  Get serious, this town wants to get famous off of senseless killing.  That’s PureBS!!

I’ve got you started here:

  • What’s the strangest thing you have ever eaten? or What’s the strangest event you have been too? (like unveiling a giant sandwich perhaps)

Check it out!!
